About BEKGED
Bosphorus Education Culture and Development Association (BEKGED) is a non-governmental organisation based in Türkiye. As an Erasmus+ sending organisation, we implement a variety of activities that promote youth participation, international mobility, and intercultural learning. We organise Erasmus+ information workshops, online information and Q&A sessions for young people facing geographical barriers, and networking events, youth gatherings and picnics that bring together young people from different regions of Türkiye.
Our Mission
At BEKGED, we believe every young person deserves the chance to grow, connect and lead. We promote youth participation, international mobility, and intercultural learning. Our initiatives include Erasmus+ information workshops at youth centers and educational institutions, where young people learn about international opportunities and how to access them. To ensure equal access, we also conduct online information and Q&A sessions for young people facing geographical barriers. In addition, we organize networking events, youth gatherings and picnics that bring together young people from different regions of Türkiye.
